As we approach the final week of Term
2, we reflect on what has been a busy,
challenging, and incredibly rewarding
few months at Kolan South State School.
This will be our final newsletter for the
term, and what a term it has been!
From the outset, our calendar has been
packed with exciting events and
meaningful learning experiences.
Highlights have included our ANZAC Day
commemorations, excursions, school
performances, and wonderful displays
by our Corps of Drums. We’ve also
welcomed special guests, such as
representatives from Bundy Sugar, and
enjoyed tuckshop days, a disco, and our
school and interschool cross-country
events—just to name a few!
Amidst all the activity, our students
have continued to engage deeply with
their learning across all key areas in
each of our three classrooms. The
dedication of our teachers and the
enthusiasm of our students have been
truly commendable.
As we near the end of the semester, it’s
natural to feel a sense of exhaustion—
but also a sense of accomplishment.
Thank you to all our families for your
ongoing support and for staying
connected during our irregular
administration times. This arrangement
is likely to continue into Term 3, so
please keep an eye on our weekly newsletters for updates on
administration hours.
I’d like to wish all our Kolan South
families a safe and relaxing holiday
break. We look forward to welcoming
everyone back, refreshed and ready for
Term 3, starting on Monday, 14
July.
